Our Mission: As the only private, not-for-private technical college in the Upper Midwest, Dunwoody College of Technology changes lives by building opportunities for graduates to have successful careers, to develop into leaders and entrepreneurs, and to engage in "the better performance of life's duties."

Quote is from the Last Will and Testament of William Hood Dunwoody

Founded in 1914 thanks to bequests from William and Kate Dunwoody, the College has always been a place where the curious and the confident learn by doing. Our focus continues to be to educate on the latest technology that is in use in the real-world. Indeed, we work closely with industry to make sure curriculum and the software, tools, and other equipment in our labs, shops, and studios is up-to-date so our graduates have the skills employers are looking for. With certificates, associates, and bachelor's degrees in more than 40 majors and both on-campus and online options, Dunwoody is able to nimbly and steadily evolve and add to our academic offerings, which helps bridge the skills gap and provides students with the best options for their career goals.

Dunwoody has more than 200,000 alumni. Whether it's the companies they found, the products they invent, the projects they complete, or the equipment they maintain and repair, their impact can be seen from the skyline of Minneapolis to across the nation and the world. Today, our graduates continue to enter the workforce with competence, determined to start meaningful and rewarding careers.
